TERMS OF SERVICE
Updated as of May 2025. ToS is subject to change.By engaging in a commission and making a payment, you ("the Commissioner") agree to be bound
by the following Terms of Service ("the Agreement") between you and Churie ("the Artist").
GENERAL TERMS
• Commissions are reviewed individually, not on a first-come, first-served basis. Accepted clients will be notified, and I may reach out to those who are declined, though this can take time.
• References are required, especially for poses, detailed designs, and backgrounds.
- Please provide clear and relevant visual references. Vague or incomplete refs may delay or result in rejection of the commission.
• I reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason.
• Any form of ill behavior will result in cancellation and a refund of the commission.¹Ill behavior includes: socially unacceptable actions (e.g., racism, fascism), or failure to respect personal boundaries — such as continued flirting, condescending language, or ignoring my requests.
MOST IMPORTANT
Any transformations to the Artwork that could be deemed to be done with intention to cause harm or spread a hateful message (adding any hate symbols, text or captions) are strictly prohibited.
Other ways of alteration should be discussed prior to making them.
Use of the commissioned Artwork with any kind of Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning image editor or similar software is strictly prohibited.
Use of the commissioned Artwork as a NFT-related image
(non-fungible token) is strictly prohibited.

• Slight NSFW (suggestive poses, mild themes)
• Anime & semi-realism stylesI Won’t Draw:
• Heavy gore

• Moderate NSFW
• Mild body horror
• Furry/anthro characters
• Certain armor or mechanical designs
• Highly stylized or experimental art styles
- If you’re unsure whether your request falls under this list, please ask before submitting.
NSFW CONTENT
• NSFW commissions are accepted, but only under specific terms. Please make sure your request is respectful and clearly outlined with proper references.
• I do not draw illegal or highly problematic content (this includes, but is not limited to: underage characters, non-consensual themes, bestiality, etc.)
PROCESS AND REVISIONS
• The Artist will contact the Commissioner once the commission is ready to begin.
• A sketch will be provided within 48 hours of receiving payment for approval.
• The Commissioner will be notified of the estimated check-in date for each progress stage (sketch, lineart, flat colors, rendering). In the event of any delays, the Commissioner will be updated until completion.
• The Commissioner is entitled to up to three separate sketch ideas for the artwork. Each additional sketch after that will incur a fee of 15% of the total commission price. (Be clear in your request if you have a specific pose or idea prepared.)
- These will be loose sketches intended to explore the pose and composition. They are not detailed renders.
• All unused sketches remain the Artist’s intellectual property and may not be traced, copied, referenced, or redistributed in any wayRevisions:• Minor Adjustments: After the artwork is completed, the Commissioner is entitled to request small changes (e.g., color adjustments, adding minor details) free of charge. The Artist will accommodate such requests within reasonable limits.
• Major Adjustments: Significant changes, including but not limited to composition, character design, or major alterations, may incur additional charges.
• Up to three minor revisions are included in the original price.
• Additional revisions beyond this will incur extra charges based on complexity. The Commissioner will be notified of these additional costs and must approve them before any revisions are made.• The Commissioner will receive a digital copy of the commissioned artwork, unwatermarked and in full resolution. No physical copies will be provided or shipped.
• After the files are delivered, the Artist is not responsible for any issues (such as hardware damage, file loss, or problems with online storage on the provider's side). It is recommended that the Commissioner save the files to their own devices to ensure future availability.
COMPLETION TIME
Commission Timeframe:
• Unless agreed otherwise, your order will be completed in 1-4 weeks from accepting the sketch. The exact timeframe may vary depending on the complexity of the artwork.
• Frequent delays in response may push the estimated completion date.
• Please note that the time taken for the Commissioner to reply or to provide feedback on Work-in-Progress (WIP) stages, or to answer questions regarding the process, is not included in this timeframe.
RUSH ORDERS
• Rush orders must be requested before the commission process begins. I do not accept rush requests once work has already started.
• If you need the commission completed faster, rush orders are available for an additional fee. The specific details and associated charges for rush orders will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties before work begins.

COPYRIGHT USAGE AND CREDITS
Personal Use Only:
You are welcome to use the commissioned artwork for non-commercial, personal purposes, such as profile pictures, banners, social media posts, or for personal projects. Any commercial use (e.g., selling, advertising, or merchandise) is strictly prohibited without prior written consent and a separate licensing agreement.
Commercial Use:
If you would like to use the artwork for commercial purposes, including but not limited to selling prints, merchandise, or any other profit-driven endeavors, you must contact me beforehand. Commercial use will require a separate licensing agreement and may incur additional fees depending on the scope of usage.
Artist Retains Full Copyright:
I retain full copyright over the commissioned artwork. This allows me to display the artwork in my portfolio, on social media, in commission sheets, and for promotional purposes. If you preferred privacy or wish to keep the artwork undisclosed, please inform me in advance, and we can discuss a non-disclosure agreement.
I also reserve the right to use the artwork for print or promotional purposes, unless stated otherwise.
Credit Requirements:
If you share the artwork publicly (e.g., on social media, websites, etc.), you must provide proper credit by tagging me or mentioning my name as the artist. This includes any public sharing, whether online or in a group.
Credit should always be given whenever the artwork is publicly visible, and this extends to private online spaces that may be shared with others.Usage Restrictions:You may not claim the artwork as your own, alter it (e.g., cropping, applying filters, or making any significant modifications), redistribute, or resell it in any form, including digital prints or physical reproductions.You may not use the artwork to create derivative works (e.g., using the artwork in another design or product) without prior written permission.Any attempt to remove or alter the watermark is strictly prohibited.The artwork cannot be used in any form of NFT (non-fungible tokens) or other blockchain-based applications.Commercial Licensing:
If you are interested in using the artwork commercially (for selling products, marketing, etc.), please reach out to discuss the terms. A commercial licensing agreement will be required, and fees will vary based on the intended use.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
• Unless requested otherwise before the commission begins, the final artwork will be delivered:
– in .PNG file format
– at 3840x2160px, or your preferred image size
– in 300 DPI or higher resolution
– via Artistree or a Google Drive link (note: files will only be available for one month)• You will receive two versions of the artwork:
1. A full-resolution, unwatermarked file
2. A watermarked, lower-DPI version intended for posting onlineUsing the second version for social media is encouraged to help protect the integrity of the artwork.NSFW CONTENT
• NSFW files will be delivered privately and discreetly, following the same format as SFW pieces.
• I do not watermark or resize NSFW pieces by default unless requested.
Pricing & Complexity
• Payment Method:
Payment is accepted through PayPal only.• Payment Requirements:
A full payment is required upfront before I can begin the sketching stage.
The total amount must be received before I can provide the final artwork.
Proof of payment (e.g., screenshot of the receipt) is highly encouraged to help keep everything clear and smooth.• Late Payment or Lack of Communication:
If the client fails to communicate or provide full payment within one week after the price is confirmed, the commission will be canceled, and the slot will be reopened to other clients.• Backgrounds:
- Plain backgrounds are free of charge!
- If a more complex background or custom elements are requested, they may incur additional fees based on complexity.
• If your reference includes unclear or highly detailed elements, I may confirm extra charges before beginning the sketch.• Extra Fees:
Additional fees may apply for intricate details, such as:
• Complex clothing designs
• Detailed poses
• Intricate patterns or textures• Final Price:
The final price is determined based on the overall complexity of the artwork, including the details in the characters, backgrounds, and additional elements.
If you have a specific vision in mind that differs from the usual style or complexity, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss an adjusted price for your commission.
REFUNDS AND PAYMENT
No Refunds Policy:
Refunds are not available once the sketch has been approved. However, there are a few exceptions noted below.Refund Eligibility:100% refund if you cancel before I begin sketching.100% refund if I cancel the commission at any point.100% refund if I cannot complete your commission within 2 months of receiving payment.Partial Refunds:
If a refund is requested before the sketch is approved but after payment has been made, a partial refund may be issued based on how much work has already been done.
(Example: If rough sketches or prep work were already started.)Refund Process:Refunds are processed within 14 days once approved.Refunds do not include payment processing fees (e.g., PayPal deductions).After a refund is issued, the Commissioner will not receive any versions or WIPs of the artwork unless otherwise stated.Important Notes:No refunds will be granted once the initial sketch is approved.Cancellations and refunds are not possible once I begin sketching or any part of the commission process unless I am the one canceling it.
